The Backstory

People ask me all the time about intuition. Have you always had it? Are you bombarded everywhere you go by messages coming in? The truth is I have ALWAYS been sensitive, from the time I was a child. It has never felt like an option to see through a different lens. Reading the nuance of body language, tone of voice, and the “vibes” people were emitting even though they hadn’t said anything directly…these were the tools I utilized to interact with others. To know my place and how to show up depending on who I was with served me for a long time until it didn’t.
For years I was shut down to this inner voice and “knowingness.” It seemed easier to stifle it (in many creative ways I might add) than to listen and live from that place. In July, 2017 I was sitting in my hair stylist, Emmy Swenson’s of www.sagestudiosalon.com chair for a routine cut/color. She was someone at the time on the periphery of my life and we had always exchanged pleasantries but that was about it. On this particular day we dove deeper into “hairapy” {that’s slang for a hair appointment + therapy}. The seemingly mundane suddenly turned magical. A potent energy streamed into the studio as I relayed to her an intricate dream I had the night prior. Unbeknownst to me the dream was PURE VALIDATION for her and about her life; including specific details and minutiae about her family members that I had no way of knowing. {CUE GOOSEBUMPS AND THE WHEELS FALLING OFF} It was immediately apparent to both of us that a transmission of sorts had occurred. Intrigued, Emmy sent out an email to her clients to see who was interested in an INTUITIVE READING by yours truly. A few days later I had the opportunity to sit with four strangers and test my “woo.” Snapshots of life soared through—pets, goals, deceased loved ones, prospective career changes, relationship dynamics, health issues—you name it, it was all there.
I feel so fortunate to be of service in this magical way. Marrying my background as a licensed professional counselor + intuition is where it’s at! I whole heartedly believe in the efficacy and wisdom of this way of working and I look forward to meeting you soon.
